A Greener Tomorrow Is on the Horizon
What are carbon offsets?
A carbon offset is a unit representing one ton of greenhouse gas emissions that have been reduced or avoided through renewable energy projects like tree planting and sustainable energy infrastructure in developing countries.
By using carbon offsets, we can compensate for the residual carbon footprint of each flight by supporting sustainable projects worldwide that reduce carbon emissions.
Air travel is a major contributor to carbon emissions worldwide, and reducing our carbon footprint is a top priority at Jet The World. Although the technologies to decarbonize air travel don’t exist yet, we are able to compensate for our carbon expenditure through the carbon offset program.
We strongly encourage our passengers to take advantage of this carbon offset program. While the carbon offsets will not get rid of the gas emissions of each flight, they will ultimately contribute to positive, sustainable change in developing communities, helping to develop the sustainable infrastructure of the future.
